Cyclists in Loška dolina

http://loskadolina.info/images/sobipro/entries/134/IMG_4355.JPGLoška dolina and its surroundings give every cyclist an opportunity to choose the cycling route that fits his or her physical condition and wishes. There are not many organized and marked cycling routes; however, with the help of our local guide you can simply enjoy an unforgettable cycling experience in the countryside of Notranjska.

A recreational cyclist can use the undulating terrain well into his/her advantage and combine the ride down the flat lands of Loško polje with ascents  towards the villages, located high in the margins of the valley landforms. The cyclist can also head further across the natural transition paths to Babno polje and further on to Croatia, or towards Bloke, Cerknica Lake or Loški potok. The major part of the Loška dolina municipality is covered with hills and lush forests, making it an ideal location for more demanding cyclists. A high Karst area of the Javorniki-Snežnik plateau may prove to be especially challenging. We help you plan your route through the vast, uninhabited forest area and provide you with proper maps or an experienced cycle guide.
