The Bierkeller cave - Ledenica cave

It was used for storing and cooling bier. That is the reason why they placed ice into it which they got from nearest ponds.

The Bierkeller cave is part of Ana’s Trail.

Waterfall Drenovec

"Koška ura" clock in Klanc

Health Park

http://www.dezela-celjska.si/sites/www.dezela-celjska.si/files/styles/large/public/Slike%20084.jpgThe health park is found in the centre of Dobrna and is a part of its health resort complex. The park`s oldest chestnut promenade dates back to 1820.

The principal species in the park is horse chestnut, accompanied by linden, maple, birch, cypress, copper beech, silver pine, plane, white poplar, bitter oak, yew and several other species. The image of villa Higiea is adorned by a majestic sequoia (with a trunk diameter of 416 cm). Park gardeners are also very proud of their gingko (with a trunk diameter of 222 cm), a species that originates in Asia and is among the oldest plant species in the world rarely found in Slovenian parks. Some of the park`s most impressive specimens: the white poplar near the home of health has a diameter of 575 cm, the plane tree by the Park hotel measures 472 cm and the cypress in the centre of the park 318 cm. Guests are encouraged to find these beautiful giants and take a closer look. A renovated jogging path runs above the park, leading joggers on a healthy forty-minute recreational walk with twenty stops offering suggested exercise forms.

Thermal water

In 1403, thermal water was first utilized for the purposes of health and wellbeing. The natural water of Dobrna is considered ideal for the treatment of gynaecologic and urologic conditions, rheumatism and associated illnesses, and the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal system disease and injury.

Fish Ponds

The largest is the northern one with a diameter of 100 meters, while the remaining two are half its size. Carp and grass carp are grown in the pond and may be fished here.

Trojna Hunting Lodge

The lodge provides a tour of trophies and historic photographs of the Dobrna hunting society.

Fun fact: Spa Resort Park – Having seen a series of changes over the course of more than two centuries, the spa resort park is today the hallmark of Dobrna. The park began to be managed in a deliberate fashion already in the 19th century.
